In May, IT employment declined markedly by 1.63% to 5,211,500 jobs, according to TechServe Alliance, the national trade association of the IT & Engineering Staffing and Solutions industry. On a year-over-year basis, IT employment dropped by 2.52% since May 2019 shedding 134,700 IT workers.
