In March, IT employment dropped .86% or 45,800 workers to 5,300,200 IT jobs, according to TechServe Alliance, the national trade association of the IT & Engineering Staffing and Solutions industry. It was the largest single month drop since March 2009. On a year-over-year basis, IT employment is down by 0.82% since April 2019 or 43,600 IT workers.
