Today I attended a roundtable discussion hosted by the Small Business Administration to discuss the implications of USCIS's recently proposed H-1B rule. Representatives from USCIS Service Center Operations and the Office of Chief Counsel were in attendance. Beyond the proposed rules potential impact on small businesses, concerns were raised during the discussion regarding the difficulty of utilizing the visa program due to new USCIS policies and client letter requirements.
